AVer Grabs Taiwan Excellence Silver Award for Advanced AI Auto Tracking PTZ Camera
Taipei, Taiwan – November 26th, 2020 – AVer Information Inc., a leading camera and education technology provider trusted by more than 500,000 classrooms globally, is thrilled to announce that its PTC310U AI Auto Tracking PTZ Camera has won the 2021 Taiwan Excellence Silver Award.
AVer Vice President Stanley Cheng commented,
“It is an honor to accept this validation of the AVer team’s hard work in developing a groundbreaking and pertinent distance learning solution. As social distancing mandates have forced organizations all over the world to rely on Pro AV devices for remote teaching and connecting, we’re proud to offer an award-winning tracking camera to help them thrive during these difficult times and far into the future.”
The PTC310U is AVer’s most advanced Pro AV camera to date. Its industry-first accessory-free auto tracking powered by Human Detection AI, 4K quality, and smooth PTZ movement make it ideal for capturing, streaming, and broadcasting sports & esports, education, government, health care, house of worship, and business content. Users can choose between two tracking modes. Presenter Mode automatically tracks speakers all over the room. Zone Mode follows presenters through customizable preset areas, ensuring displays or whiteboard notes are easy for viewers to see. Also, the Click & Track function lets presenters switch tracking targets with a click.
This is AVer’s second consecutive year bringing home one of the top honors from the Taiwan Excellence Awards. The AVerVision M15W Mechanical Arm Wireless Visualizer won the Gold award in 2020, and the PTC310U’s predecessor, the PTC500, won Gold in 2017.
Only 30 of the 433 Taiwan Excellence Award winners were nominated by the judges for Gold and Silver Awards this year. In addition to the PTC310U’s Silver Award, AVer collected Taiwan Excellence Awards for its AVerVision M11-8MV Mechanical Arm Visualizer, CB-310 Interactive Control Box, and VC520 Pro Conferencing System.
