Three cutting-edge AVer products recognized in 2016 Taiwan Excellence awards

Taipei, Taiwan – December 23, 2015 – Three of AVer’s latest high-tech products have won Taiwan Excellence awards for 2016, capping another year of innovation and creativity for AVer. These products all embody AVer’s skill at finding novel applications for the latest audio-visual technologies for classrooms, offices and other settings. Among these three, AVer’s EVC950 10-point video conferencing system was nominated for the Taiwan Excellence Gold Standard award.

The EVC950 brings advanced camera technology to video conferencing while remaining affordable for businesses and institutions of all types. In addition to full HD video and content sharing and an embedded MCU capable of up to 10 point communication, the EVC950 also boasts the new eCam Pan Tilt Zoom camera, offering 18X zoom, a wide field of view and ample pan and tilt ranges. Even greater video collaboration flexibility is possible when the EVC950 is linked to computers or mobile devices with AVer’s EZMeetup video conferencing software or EZDraw collaboration app.

Also among AVer’s Taiwan Excellence winners is the VC520 Conference Camera. Powerful yet easy to operate, the VC520 brings professional-grade video and audio to cloud- and web-based video conferencing. The VC520 need only be connected to a computer via a plug-and-play USB connection for users to enjoy full HD 1080p video quality, Pan Tilt Zoom with up to 12X optical zoom and high-quality audio input and output while using nearly any popular web- or cloud-based video conferencing platform.

Representing AVer’s intelligent education solution among the winners was the CC30 Classroom Camera. The first camera designed specifically for distance learning and lecture recording, the CC30 offers crystal-clear audio and video with an 8-megapixel HD camera and automatic exposure and white balance, and a wireless stereo microphone that can be passed from student to student or placed on a table. The CC30 is complemented by AVer’s CaptureShare software, which can be used to control the CC30 and provides recording, annotation and live broadcasting functions that are perfect for a range of activities.

Taiwan Excellence Awards were granted to 523 Taiwanese products this year, of which only 30 will be considered for the Gold Standard award. They were established in 1992 to encourage Taiwanese businesses to produce outstanding products, and are granted to products that are both creative and of high quality, with each product’s development, design and marketing taken into account during the judging process.
