The new SF2012H 2-megapixel IP cameras (network cameras) seamlessly integrate with AVer’s DVRs/NVRs to combine high-resolution imaging, superior day and night performance, and exclusive intelligent streaming technology.
Taipei, Taiwan, Dec. 20, 2011 AVer, a major global provider of presentation, communication and security solutions, is very excited to announce the launch of the latest generation of its successful IP security camera (network camera) series, the SF2012H. The new range offers enhanced image quality and integrates with its popular DVRs/NVRs to deliver market-leading preview performance using AVer’s exclusive intelligent streaming technology.
AVer’s new SF2012H 2-megapixel IP camera (network camera) series offers up to 30fps HD720p resolution and utilizes the latest H.264 compression technology.
The full range consists of :
Indoor use: Cube camera - SF2012H-C , Dome camera - SF2012H-D
Indoor/Outdoor use: Bullet - SF2012H-B, Vandal dome - SF2012H-DV (both rated IP66), Box-SF2012H (with suitable housing)
Each model features a 2-megapixel sensor, and the majority of models include IR-cut removable filter technology. (The exception is the compact cube model, the SF2012H-C.) This true day & night technology provides optimum image quality in all conditions by automatically removing the IR filter when it’s not required. Users get both the benefits of a color-accurate, IR-filtered camera in bright light situations and a clear, IR-sensitive camera when IR illumination is being used.
Even during network downtime or in a case of network sabotage, AVer’s SF2012H (except SF2012H-B) IP cameras (network cameras) are able to continue to provide records of events through mechnical local SDHC or microSDHC card backup. The hardware is supported by comprehensive firmware, including features such as Intelligent Motion Detection that minimizes false alarms through multi-zone detection.
Unique to the SF2012H-B bullet model is the external vari-focal lens adjustment, which is designed for easy installation. Once the camera is fixed in place, optical adjustments corrections can be made to the focus and zoom with the controls adjusters on the exterior of the casing. This design enables installers to easily adjust and fine-tune the images for the clearest possible view of the target area.
The new SF2012H 2-megapixel IP cameras (network cameras) and AVer ‘s 1.3-megapixel SF1311H IP cameras (network cameras) can be used with AVer’s hybrid DVRs, embedded hybrid DVRs, or pure NVRs to create a fully integrated surveillance solution. Combining these products into one system ensures maximum performance from the intelligent streaming technology and gives access to the advanced remote-access and central management software provided with all AVer DVRs/NVRs. It also offers authorized users the ability to view camera output over the Web, or on an iPhone, iPad, Android device, or Blackberry.
“The new SF2012H series of IP cameras represents the continual evolution of AVer’s integrated solution,” said Vice President of AVer Information Michael Ting. “The enhanced resolution and exceptional clarity in all conditions result in a better proposition for our dealers and ultimately, improved security for all our end users.”
The SF2012H series will be available from December 20, 2011.
