Taipei, Taiwan, April 7, 2010- Intel Storage Solutions Forum 2010 was held on March 24th and AVer INFORMATION Inc. was honored to be invited to join this grand conference. Jackie Lin, the product manager of AVer INFORMATION, not only showcased the newest features of AVerDiGi IWH3216 Touch, but also gave a presentation summarizing the past, present, and future of surveillance technology and AVerDiGi solutions in the forum.
In the presentation, AVer INFORMATION briefly described the evolution of surveillance industry in the opening, but emphasized more on the present and future of network surveillance system. There are still plenty of critical factors for the network surveillance system to work in a perfect form such as, easy installation and maintenance, clear image quality and resolution during transmission and storage, and cloud computing concept. Although the benefits of network surveillance system are countless, it also presented some major obstacles.
Since high resolution images have become a necessary requirement, therefore storage space demand would be more critical in the surveillance network world. The correlation between the two has pushed the birth of AVerDiGi revolutionary DVR: AVerDiGi IWH3216 Touch, a 16CH H.264 embedded Hybrid DVR. With H.264 compression technology, IWH3216 Touch can not only provide high resolution and quality images but also minimize the file size for more efficient management of HDD usage. Moreover, it adopted Intel® AtomTM processor D510 CPU, this dual core processor allows IWH3216 Touch to offer the same performance as PC-based system, but at a much friendlier price. The exterior design concept of AVerDiGi IWH3216 Touch is also a milestone. Users can simply use a fingertip to operate by its “Illuminated Touchpad” front panel sparkling in cold-blue light.
