AVer upgrades device charging offerings with S40i 40-device charge cart for tablets, laptops and Chromebooks

Taipei, Taiwan – August 4, 2015 – AVer Information has released its newest charge cart, the S40i. With space for 40 tablets, laptops or Chromebooks, the S40i boasts a slew of market-leading features that ease the burden of device management and ensure the safety of students, teachers and devices alike.

The S40i’s user-friendly design includes extra-wide bays that can accommodate all kinds of tablets as well as laptops up to 14” long. Another handy feature is sliding shelves that allow for easy placement and removal of devices, while cable management features such as individual compartments for each adapter and moveable cable clips ensure users will not need to contend with a tangle of wires. Problems such as theft or vandalism are all but eliminated by the S40i’s fully-welded steel frame and steel double doors with three-point locking mechanisms on both the front and rear.

Child safety was an important factor in the S40i’s design. The S40i integrates AVer’s renowned ‘Round and Sound’ design features, such as internal hinges and an edge-free, screw-less frame that minimizes the number of protrusions a child might bump into. In addition, the cart’s corners and edges are rounded and encased in smooth, protective plastic covers, greatly lessening the risk of injury.

Another signature AVer feature on the S40i is its intelligent charging system, which optimizes total charge time and dramatically lowers the possibility of circuit overload by dynamically evaluating devices’ power demand and allocating electricity to the devices that need it most. In addition, users can rest easy with the cart’s industry-leading 5-year warranty for electrical components and 10-year warranty for mechanical components.
