Aver products do not impact by Log4j CVE-2021-44228 and related vulnerabilities.
In response to the reported vulnerability CVE-2021-44228 in the Apache Log4j2 Java library, AVer is conducting a thorough review of our software to determine any potential impact on our services to our customers.
The following AVer products and applications are not susceptible to the Log4j 2.x CVE-2021-44228 vulnerability.

Do SVC/EVC series support Poly RealConnect Service?
A: Please try following configuration on EVC and SVC.
Settings→ Network→ SIP
Step 1. SIP Transport Protocol: default is UDP, please select TCP.
Step 2. BFCP(content share): default is UDP, please select TCP.

Back to dial page.
Call type select “SIP”, and enter account into Call to. Then press Call(Green Button)
Success to connect.

EVC shows this message “Memory insufficient” during FW update, What can I do?
Step 1. Power off the EVC.
Step 2. The 2nd step: disconnect power cable.
Step 3. Re-plug in power cable.
Step 4. Power on the EVC.
Step 5. Insert USB driver to main station with the latest version.
Step 6. Following guide to finish FW update.

Do SVC/EVC series support Microsoft Teams cloud meeting?
Due to different design artichure, both of AVer EVC / SVC series do not support MS Teams call directly. The EVC / SVC series only support to connect to the remote site through H.323/SIP protocols. Need more help? »» Contact us
Do SVC/EVC series support ZOOM cloud meeting?
A: Yes, SVC / EVC system can join ZOOM meeting by following methods.

1. Press “Call” button on remote controller.
In dial page. Enter (ZOOM connection IP)##(Meeting ID)#(Meeting PASSWORD) then press “Call”. We suggest users find keypad to enter. By pressing “keypad” button on remote controller to find keypad.

Why isn’t there any audio during the call?
Check that the relevant microphones are not muted and/or adjust the volume of your speaker. If you have attached an external speaker, please check that it is properly connected to the system. Need more help? »» Contact us
Why I am getting a “Present Failed” message?
If you are calling a system that does not belong to SVC series, make sure that the system supports enabling H.239 or BFCP features. Please contact the system administrator for further details. Need more help? »» Contact us
Does SVC series allow the user to save preset camera positions?
Yes, SVC series can save up to 10 preset positions for the camera. Each preset can remember the vertical and lateral rotation of the camera as well as the level of magnification. Need more help? »» Contact us
Why can’t I get the correct aspect ratio?
By default SVC is able to automatically detect your monitor aspect ratio and output correct format to monitor / projector. There are also options to manually change different resolutions and aspect ratios for two monitor outputs (1080P – 16:9, 720P – 16:9, XGA – 4:3) under “General Setting” and “Monitor”. Why is there no image/video on the screen?
First, check that all connections are properly plugged in and match the diagrams in the user manual. Next, check that the TV or LCD monitor is powered on, and verify that the TV or LCD monitor’s input is set for your SVC series video conferencing system. What type of warranty comes with SVC series?

I do not see a ''##'' or ''**'' function. Can I dial extensions using SVC series?
When a call is established with an MCU unit, users will be asked to enter the PIN or room number with the pound sign “#”. Press “Far/Near” on the remote control once the call is connected, then press the number keys and use the “←” as “ # ”. Need more help? »» Contact us
How does SVC series display multiple sites and/or content during a call?

Can I call to a Skype for Business ID from SVC series while a SIP / H.323 video conferencing is ongoing?
Yes. Unlike other video conferencing systems, SVC series is able to invite a Skype for Business ID to join an ongoing SIP / H.323 video conference. SVC series allows multiple participants calling via SIP, H.323 or Skype for Business to be in same video conference meeting. Just simply enter a Skype for Business contact ID, you can invite the ID into a meeting. Or, calling SVC registered ID from Skype for Business software could also join the ongoing meeting. Can SVC series support dual content sharing and what is the highest resolution in content sharing?
Yes, SVC series support dual content sharing from HDMI in and DVI in. SVC supports 1080P (1920 x 1080) resolution and transmit maximum 60 frames per second during content sharing. Need more help? »» Contact us
Why does my system not detect my USB device?
Please unplug your USB device and wait for approximately 10-15 seconds, then plug it into the system again. Your USB devices need to be one of following file formats: FAT32, NTFS, EXFAT. Need more help? »» Contact us

How can I enter meeting ID or access code to a MCU or cloud base meeting room from SVC series?
To enter meeting ID / access code to a MCU / cloud base meeting room, you need to switch control flag from near-side to far-side by pressing “Far/Near” on the remote control. After pressing “Far/Near”, a red, person icon will appear onscreen, indicating the site that will receive the meeting ID or access code. How do I upgrade/update my SVC series video conferencing system?
To ensure the best performance of system, we suggest you update your system regularly to latest released firmware from AVer website. How do I reset the administrator password on SVC series?
Why is it that when I try to make a call, the message “Call Failed” appears on the screen?
There are many possible reasons that SVC series cannot connect your calls. Here are few steps for quick trouble shooting: First, check the IP address, your tried to call, is correct. Then, verify the other site has not set its video conferencing system to “Do Not Disturb” or is simply not picking up the call. Is SVC series compatible with legacy H.320 ISDN video conferencing systems?
No. SVC series does not support direct H.320 ISDN call on its own. If you have a gateway or MCU capable of bridging H.323 and H.320 systems, then you should be able to use your SVC series with H.320 systems. Need more help? »» Contact us
Does the SVC series support Microsoft Skype for Business Online or On-Premises?
