AVer continues to be the #1 visualizer brand in the U.S. and W. Europe

Taipei, Taiwan July 21, 2011AVer, a major global provider of presentation, communication and security solutions, is happy to announce that Futuresource Consulting*, one of the most trusted research institutions in the ICT field, has confirmed that AVer is the 2010 visualizer (document camera) market leader for the U.S. and Western Europe, making it the second year running that the company, formerly known as AVerMedia Information, and its AVerVision brand of visualizers (document cameras) has captured the #1 spot.

According to the data brought forth by Futuresource, AVer laid claim to the lion’s share of the nearly 400,000 visualizers (document cameras) sold in 2010, which is up from 319,000 in 2009. AVer led the U.S. visualizer (document camera) market with an impressive 32% market share, a comfortable 10 percentage points ahead of its nearest competitor.

The company faired even better in the Western European market with a whopping 36.6% market share, over 22 percentage points greater than the second-place seller in the region. The United Kingdom performed notably well, capturing an unbelievable 47.7% market share and leading its nearest competitor by 34 percentage points.
