Does the SVC series support multiple cameras?
SVC series can support 2nd cameras input. Through 2nd camera HDMI input, SVC series is able to connect an AVer CAM530 or 3rd party HDMI camera as 2nd camera. SVC can even control 2nd camera via an optional USB to RS232 adapter on SVC remote controller.

Does SVC series camera automatically adjust white-balance and brightness?
The camera included with SVC series will automatically adjust white balance and brightness to present the optimal image, but you can also adjust these settings manually, if you would like from the system setting. Need more help? »» Contact us
How can I share content from a device connected through VGA?
In SVC accessory pack, there is a DVI to VGA adapter to allow user connecting their content sharing device with VGA interface. You could plug in the VGA cable with the adapter to SVC DVI input, then SVC will detect the connectivity and show presentation option for content sharing. Need more help? »» Contact us
Why is the video blurry?
Your video is most likely just out of focus. Press the “Zoom –” or “Zoom +” button on your remote control to refocus your camera. Need more help? »» Contact us
Can I connect two cameras to the system?
Yes, SVC series support dual camera input, therefore, SVC can equip one SVC standard camera and one HDMI camera. We suggest to use AVer CAM530 or PTC500S for best performance. Need more help? »» Contact us
Does SVC series allow the user to save preset camera positions?
Yes, SVC series can save up to 10 preset positions for the camera. Each preset can remember the vertical and lateral rotation of the camera as well as the level of magnification. Need more help? »» Contact us
Why can’t I get the correct aspect ratio?
By default SVC is able to automatically detect your monitor aspect ratio and output correct format to monitor / projector. There are also options to manually change different resolutions and aspect ratios for two monitor outputs (1080P – 16:9, 720P – 16:9, XGA – 4:3) under “General Setting” and “Monitor”. Why is there no image/video on the screen?
First, check that all connections are properly plugged in and match the diagrams in the user manual. Next, check that the TV or LCD monitor is powered on, and verify that the TV or LCD monitor’s input is set for your SVC series video conferencing system. Why is the display screen blurred / out of focus?
  1. Check if the camera lens is clear and its sticker / protector is removed.
  2. Press ''Enter'' on the remote controller to auto focus the camera.
  3. Try to refocus your external projector.

Why can't the camera focus?

The distance between camera lens and items needs to exceed 1.5M in order to focus.

Why does my screen ripple / flicker?

Please press ''Settings'' > ''Video / Audio'' > ''Camera'' and adjust ''Frequency'' to auto mode or the mains frequency in your area.

Why can't I control the PTZ camera?

Check If the cable is conneted correctly, quit system menu in order to control the camera.

Can I use different video encoding standards ( H.263 / H.263+ / H.264 ) in a meeting?
What would the menu show if HDMI1, HDMI2 and VGA are connected?

Default will be on HDMI 1, if you want to show on VGA or HDMI 2, press and hold ''Dual'' for 3 seconds.

Why does my video have poor image quality?

The image quality you wish to use may require more bandwidth from your internet connection. Lowering the desired image quality may improve the overall performance.

Why is my far site unable to control my local camera?

Far site camera control is set to ''on'' by default. If this option is enabled and you still have issues, confirm with your network admin to ensure the proper ports are open.
