Adjustable IR LED Strength

AVer IP cameras employ Osram IR LEDs, essentially guaranteeing excellent quality, long lifespan and energy efficiency. Built-in illuminators allow for manual adjustment of infrared light intensity. Users can access the camera's UI via the web to fine-tune IR levels to fit specific location requirements, avoiding potential lighting issues, such as overexposure.

Smart Stream

Smart Stream lets security personnel to optimize bandwidth and storage space by increasing or decreasing image quality for selected areas based on criticality. Users can define up to 5 areas per stream to quickly home in on the key elements of the scene during preview and playback.

ROI, a handy image cropping feature, assists users in achieving bandwidth and storage optimization. Users can select 1 or 2 key regions of any scene to transmit as separate streams for targeted preview and recording.

MFZ

A built-in motorized lens allows security personnel to adjust a camera's focal point, focal length and magnification remotely via the camera's web UI. Users can take full advantage of the vari-focal lens with stepping motor and one-click focus adjustment to set the camera's gaze upon the action at hand. MFZ is highly recommended for monitoring remote, hard-to-reach or unsafe locations.

Live Mobile Monitoring

Using the free AVer iViewer or AVer AndroidViewer mobile surveillance app on a mobile phone or tablet, security guards patrolling the school grounds, administrators outside the office and parents at home can remotely view live security footage wherever, whenever.

WDR technology ensures proper lighting contrast and image clarity when experiencing severe backlighting or glare. Many 3-megapixel AVer IP cameras, such as FX3000-R and FV3028-RT, come equipped with True WDR, a sensor-based WDR technology perfect for the most challenging lighting environments, while many other AVer IP cameras are equipped with digital WDR (D-WDR), a cost-effective alternative to True WDR.

Simply put, higher resolution means more effective surveillance. All AVer School Security IP cameras support a minimum of 25/30fps at full HD1080p resolution. From license plates to visitors' faces, these crisp, vivid images capture the finest details of every scene and bring them into clear view, providing image quality unattainable via analog cameras and other low resolution CCTV systems.

Two-Way Audio

Two-way audio allows security staff to hear sound originating near an AVer IP camera via a built-in or externally connected microphone to add an acoustic element to your video surveillance solution. By connecting speakers to the camera, security personnel can communicate with anyone nearby, allowing them to warn intruders, vandals or bullies that they're under surveillance and swiftly defuse potentially dangerous situations.

Corridor Mode

While the high resolution images captured by AVer IP cameras record details in outstanding clarity, the default widescreen (16:9) format of these cameras is not optimal for long, narrow scenes, such as hallways, corridors and stairwells. By rotating the camera 90° and enabling Corridor Mode, the video is now captured in a portrait-style (9:16) format, extending the field of view vertically for more effective video surveillance.

Quick Focus

Thanks to a simple 3-step procedure – Connect. Trigger. Adjust. – Quick Focus-enabled cameras let installers set the optimal focal range quickly and precisely. Quick Focus can be accessed via a network using the camera's web UI or a BNC monitor connected directly to the camera. During manual adjustment, the built-in focus analyzer can be used to find the precise moment when the image is sharpest.

Event Booster

This clever space-saving tool triggers an instant frame rate boost under specific alarm conditions, such as motion detection. Security personnel can use Event Booster to ensure smooth imaging after the alarm is triggered while reducing the base frame rate during normal conditions, saving bandwidth and storage space. Event Booster

Cross Detection

Cross Detection gives security personnel the upper hand against intruders. A virtual tripwire is drawn across any live IP camera feed, eliminating the cost and hassle of installing external sensors. When the line is “crossed” by a person or object, the system will trigger an alarm, alerting security officers to the presence of a potentially dangerous trespasser, a student leaving campus without authorization, and so forth.
