AVer adds new embedded hybrid DVR to satisfy medium and large-scale security projects

Taipei, Taiwan, Oct. 13, 2011- AVer, a major global provider of presentation, security, and communication solutions, announced today the release of its newest H.264 embedded hybrid DVRs - the EH6000H Series. This exciting new DVR series includes 8CH and 16CH IP and analog video hybrid inputs, and features real-time recording and display at a maximum total frame rate of 480fps. The EH6000H has been developed to accommodate demanding security specifications and complicated medium to large-scale security projects.

One of the major breakthroughs of the EH6000H series is its sophisticated preview performance. The EH6000H Series has adopted AVer’s unique Intelligent Streaming function, which optimizes streaming to remote and DVR sites, allowing users to select compression type, frame rate and quality when connected to AVer IP cameras (network cameras). Moreover, by activating the Dual Streaming function, users are able to pick the ideal frame rate and resolution for remote monitoring based on the available network bandwidth when connected solely to analog cameras.

The EH6000H Series not only provides higher performance at the DVR site through increased CPU power for processing surveillance data and performing different video analytics at a much faster rate, but also includes the dual gigabit LAN feature, allowing the entire surveillance system to efficiently exchange data from the DVR to the CMS and IP cameras (network cameras) at the remote sites. And, the EH6000H Series offers easy connection with POS systems commonly seen on the market through the AVer Data Box and centralized control and monitoring through the CMS, making the EH6000H Series a preferred choice for large supermarket chains, shopping malls and business centers.

“The EH6000H Series has taken care of the user’s most important considerations when choosing an appropriate DVR for security projects, namely hybrid capability, real-time recording and display, preview performance, and high-quality video images,” said Vice President of AVer Information Inc. Michael Ting. “In addition to supreme DVR performance with unique added value, the launch of the EH6000H Series provides partners with additional selling opportunities that are likely to boost monthly revenue.”

In addition, AVer has the privilege to access the Intel Alliance Program which offers a reliable supply line of innovative products based on Intel technology to lower development cost and get early access to roadmaps, test platforms, and design support to stay ahead of competition. The program also allows AVer to collaborate with other alliance partners to share experiences to develop optimized and interoperable products, provide significant head start on product design, and gain thousands of Intel-based components.
