AVer’s EVC950 video conferencing system captures Taiwan Excellence Silver Award

Taipei, Taiwan – April 21, 2016 – AVer video conferencing has once again thrilled the Taiwan Excellence judges. This time they have bestowed AVer’s EVC950 video conferencing system with the distinguished Taiwan Excellence Silver Award, recognizing it as one of the most innovative and influential products to come out of Taiwan in the past year.

AVer president Andy Hsi expressed his excitement: “This represents yet another affirmation of the value AVer’s video conferencing solution provides to users. We will continue to find new, innovative ways to satisfy businesses’ ever-evolving collaboration needs.”

AVer’s EVC950, capable of linking up to 10 points with full HD 1080p 30fps live video and content sharing, brings high quality and powerful features to business collaboration. It features AVer’s new eCam PTZ camera, with 18X zoom as well as a wide field of view and ample pan and tilt ranges, allowing users to take in the whole meeting space as well as focus in on important details. The EVC950 also offers AVer’s industry-first one-touch recording to USB drives and microphone daisy chain capability, which permits the expansion of microphone coverage simply by linking up to three additional microphones to the first. Even more options for dynamic collaboration are available with AVer’s value-added software, such as EZMeetup, which allows users to join video conferences from mobile devices or computers, and ScreenShare, for wirelessly sharing images from PCs.

Taiwan Excellence Awards were granted to 523 Taiwanese products this year, with the EVC950 being one of only 20 to be granted the Silver award. Established in 1992, the Taiwan Excellence Awards are intended to encourage Taiwanese businesses to produce outstanding products. Winning products must demonstrate both creativity and high quality in their development, design and marketing.
