AVer to display its intelligent retail revolution at Intersec 2015

Taipei, Taiwan – January 13, 2015 – AVer announces its participation in Intersec 2015, the largest security trade show in the Middle East, where it will display brand new IP cameras and cutting edge IVA features that introduce Internet of Things technology into retail management and surveillance. Visitors can find AVer’s booth at stand S1-I45.

AVer’s booth will showcase innovative Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) features that boost retail efficiency and integrate AVer’s intelligent retail solution into the Internet of Things. Among these is people counting, which monitors the number of people within a certain area and can alert management when that area approaches maximum capacity. Also on display will be the blacklist feature, which remembers the appearance of people who have been banned from a store and alerts management if they return. Similarly, the VIP feature keeps an eye out for particularly valued customers, allowing staff time to make special preparations.

Among the IP cameras AVer will showcase is the ED5000, AVer’s first fisheye camera. This 5-megapixel camera provides 5 separate streams of output and hardware de-warp, permitting efficient surveillance of large areas with just one camera. The ED5000 supports AVer’s full range of IVA features, including the upcoming heat map feature, which will display where people are more likely to walk or linger, and people tracking. In addition, AVer will exhibit its new 2-megapixel FD2000-1 mini dome, featuring a wide angle lens and an inconspicuous compact design. The FD2000-1 also features quick, hassle-free 4-step installation.

Intersec 2015 is held from January 18-20, 2015, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. AVer’s booth is located at stand S1-I45 in Sheikh Saeed Hall 1.
