NOTE: Under Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, there are specific hardware and software
requirements to enable the AVerTVHD MCE A180 as a separate Digital TV Tuner device for Media Center
- A supported DirectX 9.0 compliant graphics adapter is pre-installed
- Users will need to have an analog TV tuner card (like UltraTV 1500 MCE, AVerTV PVR 150
or AVerMedia M150) pre-installed in the system in order to get AVerTVHD MCE A180 to work
properly in Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005
- The Update Roll up 1 for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with HDTV Support (KB873369)
is required prior to installing drivers for AVerTVHD MCE A180. More information is available from

- A Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 certified MPEG-2 Decoder is required for proper operation
of Media Center. Please refer to the Windows XP Media Center Edition Partners site for details on
